I'm Khalil — a Kuwaiti student at the University of Glasgow, finishing a degree in Business & Management while building companies and thinking seriously about how knowledge gets made and taught.
My work sits at the intersection of entrepreneurship, AI, and education. I'm not interested in the surface layer of business — the pitch decks, the hustle rhetoric, the tidy frameworks taught without context. I'm interested in what actually drives decisions under uncertainty, and how we might teach that more honestly.
I've been building since I was sixteen: freelance design, iOS apps, an AI education platform for the Gulf, a national competition award for an LLM-powered product. My dissertation asks whether large language models can genuinely support the way founders think — not automate it, but augment it.
After Glasgow, I'm pursuing a Master's in Entrepreneurship, then eventually a PhD. My long-term aim is to bring rigorous, research-grounded entrepreneurship education back to Kuwait — in Arabic, embedded in Gulf context, and free from the mythology that surrounds the field.

يقع عملي عند تقاطع ريادة الأعمال والذكاء الاصطناعي والتعليم. لا يستهويني الوجه السطحي للأعمال — العروض التقديمية ولغة الاندفاع والأطر المرتبة التي تُدرَّس دون سياق. ما يشغلني هو ما يحرّك القرارات في ظل الغموض، وكيف يمكننا تعليم ذلك بصدق أكبر.
أبني منذ كنت في السادسة عشرة: تصميم حر، تطبيقات iOS، منصة تعليمية بالذكاء الاصطناعي للجمهور الخليجي، وجائزة في مسابقة وطنية لمنتج مدعوم بنماذج اللغة الكبيرة. تتساءل أطروحتي عمّا إذا كانت هذه النماذج قادرة على دعم طريقة تفكير المؤسسين حقًا — لا أتمتتها، بل تعزيزها.
بعد غلاسكو، أتجه نحو الماجستير في ريادة الأعمال، ثم الدكتوراه. هدفي البعيد هو إعادة تعليم ريادة الأعمال الرصين والمبني على البحث إلى الكويت — بالعربية، في سياقه الخليجي، بعيدًا عن الأساطير التي تحيط بهذا المجال.

This dissertation investigates whether large language models can meaningfully support the cognitive and decision-making processes of early-stage entrepreneurs — not as automation tools, but as genuine thinking partners. The review spans three interconnected research questions, synthesising 41 sources across entrepreneurship, cognitive science, and AI literature.
تتناول هذه الأطروحة مسألة ما إذا كانت نماذج اللغة الكبيرة قادرة على دعم العمليات المعرفية وصنع القرار لدى رواد الأعمال في المراحل الأولى — لا بوصفها أدوات أتمتة، بل شركاء تفكير حقيقيين. تمتد المراجعة عبر ثلاثة أسئلة بحثية مترابطة، وتُخلص إلى تحليل 41 مصدرًا في أدبيات ريادة الأعمال وعلم الإدراك والذكاء الاصطناعي.
